ByteDance builds a full short-drama studio into Jimeng
ByteDance's Jimeng AI launched a studio on Tuesday covering scripts, characters, storyboards, video and post-production in one workflow. It runs on three in-house models, DreamScript, Anycook and DreamShot, and can remake an existing drama in a visual style for a different market.
China's vertical short-drama industry employs writers, actors and editors on very fast schedules. A tool that remakes one series for several markets reduces the number of productions needed. SourcesB
