Binance customers pulled $3.64 billion in the first nine hours after withdrawals reopened
Binance's own figures show $4.65 billion withdrawn and $1.01 billion deposited between 1 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Eastern on Sunday, a net outflow of $3.64 billion, or 2.1% of the $171 billion in assets its October 28th proof-of-reserves showed. DefiLlama counted $4.05 billion of net outflows over 24 hours, and Binance's bitcoin balance fell by about 19,289 BTC. The money did not all go to rivals: the next ten largest exchanges took in about $368 million net, most of it at OKX.
Withdrawals are still far from normal. By 11:22 a.m. Eastern, 531 of Binance's 552 listed coins remained suspended, with 14 partly restored, bitcoin and Ether among them. Binance says outflows are "stabilising as expected" and promises a new proof-of-reserves report on Monday from an October 31st snapshot. SourcesB
