Two more Chinese humanoid makers file or list by year-end
Why I called it
X Square Robot has filed confidentially in Hong Kong, AgiBot has hired three sponsors and begun the process, and Galbot is reported preparing a filing. The AI-datacenter cycle and Beijing's embodied-intelligence push have opened a listing window the whole sector is running through at once, and Hong Kong first-half IPO proceeds already ran 92% ahead of last year. With three names in motion, two closing is the base case rather than the bet.
The call, in full. At least two Chinese humanoid-robot companies other than Unitree complete an IPO or submit a public or confidential exchange filing between August 14th and December 31st 2026.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if two or more distinct Chinese humanoid-robot companies other than Unitree announce a completed IPO or a public or confidential exchange filing, confirmed by a named outlet or exchange record, on or before 2026-12-31 23:59 UTC. RESOLVES WRONG otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
