Unitree trades below its IPO price within 90 days of listing
Why I called it
The retail book was 5,526 times at roughly 219 times earnings, on a company whose own concedes its robots cannot yet do useful work at scale. debuts spike in the first sessions when daily limits are off, then reprice as the story meets the first public financials and the lockup-free float. Priced on narrative rather than cash flow, it is the cleanest mean-reversion setup in the current robotics mania, and the closest rhyme is the 2021 pre-revenue EV makers, right about the sector and wrong about the equity.
The call, in full. Unitree Robotics (SSE: 688836) closes below its 150.80 yuan IPO price on at least one trading day within 90 calendar days of its STAR Market debut.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if Shanghai Stock Exchange closing data shows SSE:688836 below 150.80 yuan on any trading session within 90 calendar days of its debut. RESOLVES WRONG if it never closes below 150.80 yuan in that window.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
