Taiwan's AI-agent intrusion gets formal state attribution
Why I called it
Dream Security's evidence points to Chinese-language operator documentation; Taiwan's own government has confirmed the intrusion but said only "overseas sources." Formal attribution is a materially higher bar than technical evidence, and it is the fact that would convert a security firm's report into the documented state-linked incident B3 is watching for.
The call, in full. A government body formally attributes the July AI-agent intrusion into Taiwan's nuclear safety agency to a specific state actor by December 31st 2026.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if, on or before 2026-12-31 23:59 UTC, Taiwan's government or another national government publicly names a specific state as responsible for the July AI-agent intrusion into Taiwanese government systems, per an official statement or a named outlet's report of one. RESOLVES WRONG otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
