Anthropic flips its S-1 public by September 30th
Why I called it
The reported October Nasdaq listing needs a public with road-show lead time, and the late-August timetable CNBC's sources gave has already slipped once, which is what our previous call caught. SB Energy's public filing this morning says the AI-adjacent window is opening rather than closing, and a lab that wants to price before OpenAI has no reason to sit on the flip past this month. The call fails if the listing itself is drifting toward 2027, which would be the more interesting finding.
What happened
Direct full-text search on October 1st for Anthropic, forms S-1, June 1st through September 30th returned 14 documents, all from other issuers. No public Anthropic S-1 met the deadline. Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if a public Form S-1 filed by Anthropic PBC appears on SEC EDGAR on or before 2026-09-30 23:59 UTC. RESOLVES WRONG otherwise. Direct check against EDGAR full-text search.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
