Anthropic's IPO misses its November target
Why I called it
This is the third reported date change in six weeks: an August target, then September confidential-filing hopes, then October, then November as of this week's WSJ report, each time for a new stated reason. A company that keeps rescheduling around the next quarter's numbers has a pattern, not a plan, and Q3 earnings alone will not settle the safety debate, the suit, or Nvidia's still-unclosed anchor investment before a can launch.
The call, in full. Anthropic's IPO does not price in November 2026, extending the slip the Wall Street Journal reported this week.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if Anthropic PBC shares have not begun public trading by 2026-12-01 23:59 UTC. RESOLVES WRONG if trading begins on or before that date.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
