A second AI data center discloses a comparable power delay
Why I called it
Oracle's force-majeure notice on Project Jupiter and SB Energy's IPO postponement landed the same week Morgan Stanley raised its unmet US data-center power estimate to 33-57 and Texas halted new data-center permits statewide. If the constraint is the grid rather than one contractor's bad luck, another named project should hit the same wall inside a single quarter.
The call, in full. Within 90 days of this issue, a US AI data-center project of 100 megawatts or more, run by a developer other than Oracle, Blue Owl, or STACK Infrastructure, discloses a force-majeure notice or a publicly reported delay of six months or longer attributed to power or grid-connection access.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if, by 2026-12-27 23:59 UTC, a developer other than Oracle, Blue Owl, or STACK Infrastructure discloses a force-majeure notice or a publicly reported delay of six months or longer for a US AI data-center project of at least 100 megawatts, attributed to power or grid-connection access, per company disclosure or credible reporting. RESOLVES WRONG otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
