No top-five US bank lets outside agents move money before July 2027
Why I called it
Four big US consumer institutions spent October saying the same thing for the same reason: cannot transact because nobody knows who is liable when one errs. Liability allocation needs legislation or case law, and neither moves in nine months. The counter-pressure is real, since agent-commerce protocols want bank rails and the first bank to offer safe delegation gets the integration traffic, which is why this is 0.70 and not 0.85.
The call, in full. None of the five largest US banks by assets (JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs) announces supported third-party AI-agent-initiated money movement on consumer accounts before July 1st 2027.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES WRONG if, before 2027-07-01 00:00 UTC, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo or Goldman Sachs publishes an announcement, product page or press release offering supported third-party AI-agent-initiated money movement (payments or transfers) on consumer accounts. RESOLVES CORRECT otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
