Anthropic does not price its IPO at $1.5 trillion or more by March 31st
Why I called it
In October prospective investors called $1.8 trillion to $2 trillion fair. Since then the Nasdaq had its worst month since March 2025, OpenAI cut its own round by a third at $1.25 trillion, and Blackstone told lenders it expects Anthropic to be rated . A listing that has to clear in this market is more likely to price below $1.5 trillion, or to wait, than to hold the October talk.
The call, in full. Anthropic does not price an initial public offering at an implied valuation of $1.5 trillion or more on or before March 31st 2027.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES WRONG if on or before 2027-03-31 23:59 UTC Anthropic, prices an IPO at an implied valuation of $1.5 trillion or more, per its pricing press release, final , or Reuters, Bloomberg or Financial Times reporting of the fully diluted valuation at the offer price. RESOLVES CORRECT otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
