Mistral publishes the Large 4 weights by October 31st
Why I called it
Mistral's announcement says the drop at the end of the month after a testing window, and reporting names October 27th. Weights dates have slipped across the industry all year, so a dated promise from a lab with a record of shipping weights is the cleanest test of whether safety-testing windows now stretch release calendars.
The call, in full. Mistral publishes downloadable weights for Mistral Large 4 on or before October 31st 2026.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if Mistral publishes downloadable Mistral Large 4 weights, on or its own distribution channel, on or before 2026-10-31 23:59 UTC. RESOLVES WRONG otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
