CXMT publicly shows a 4F² DDR5 server module by year-end
Why I called it
CXMT's president put a date on the claim that repriced the Korean memory sector: DDR5 RDIMMs on by year-end. A public showing is a far lower bar than yield or customer qualification, which is why the confidence sits above a coin flip, while the record of walked-back Chinese memory claims keeps it well below certainty.
The call, in full. CXMT publicly demonstrates, announces sampling of, or announces availability of a DDR5 server module built on 4F² cell architecture by December 31st 2026.
Scoring criterion. RESOLVES CORRECT if by 2026-12-31 23:59 UTC CXMT publicly demonstrates, announces sampling of, or announces availability of a DDR5 RDIMM product built on 4F² cell architecture, as reported by CXMT or at least two established outlets. RESOLVES WRONG otherwise.
The criterion is the machine-checkable version: a prediction that cannot be settled by a third party against a public source fails the build before it reaches this page.
